Fairmount Park Conservancy
Developing a new brand for park champions
As the humble champion of Philadelphia’s parks, Fairmount Park Conservancy required a simple and strong brand that paired easily with the logos of their collaborative partners. The Conservancy engages with over 200 neighborhood parks and 10,200 acres in Philadelphia.
The simple beauty of our park system inspired the intentional restraint found throughout the brand. Activated with bright colors and simple patterns inspired by the different parks of Philadelphia, the brand has the range to go from bold and bright to quiet and restrained.
A series of illustrative emblems were created to promote neighborhood park stewardship and encourage the public to become a champion for Philadelphia parks.
Fairmount Park Conservancy works with a range of public spaces including playgrounds, historic houses, and cultural institutions throughout the city of Philadelphia.
The Conservancy acts as a resource for locals and visitors, and activates the parks through hosting annual events and activities.
